Keep Your Slime Happy 🍎

Slime is pretty low maintenance, but a little care goes a long way. Follow these tips and your slime will stay stretchy, squishy, and satisfying for as long as possible.

🧼 Start With Clean Hands

Always wash and dry your hands before playing with slime.

Lotion, oils, food, dirt, and other debris can change the texture of your slime. It's also a good idea to play on a clean surface.

🫙 Keep It Sealed

When you're finished playing, put your slime back in its container and make sure the lid is closed tightly.

Store it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Please don't leave your slime in your car.

Your slime does not need a vacation. 😂

☀️ Too Sticky?

Heat can make slime much stickier than normal, especially after shipping.

Let warm slime cool down before adding anything to it. If it's still sticky, you can use a small amount of activator.

Add activator a little at a time and knead it thoroughly before adding more.

Adding too much activator can make your slime stiff and rubbery.

🥶 Too Stiff?

If your slime feels unusually stiff, let it come back to room temperature and knead it for a few minutes.

If you've used too much activator, give it some time to soften before adding anything else.

✨ Clear Slime Looks Cloudy?

That's normal!

Playing with clear slime creates tiny air bubbles that make it look cloudy. Put it back in its container and let it sit undisturbed for a few days.

The bubbles will gradually work their way out.

🪨 Losing Beads or Add-Ins?

A little fallout is normal with crunchy slimes and other textures that contain lots of add-ins.

Gentler stretches can help keep everything where it belongs. Playing over a clean tray or surface can also make cleanup much easier.

🫧 Slime Got Bigger?

It's been filled with air!

Stretching and playing with slime introduces air, which can make it expand. Letting it sit in its container will allow some of that air to work its way out.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

• Slime is not edible.
• Keep it away from hair, carpets, clothing, furniture, and pets
• Don't add random ingredients to your slime.
• Small add-ins can be a choking hazard.
• Young children should always be supervised while playing with slime.
